How to create a zone in FLORIAN? – 3AM Innovations

In FLORIAN, a Zone is a geofenced area representing a point of interest during an active incident.

Zones can either be set to Operational or Support type.

Zones can also send alerts when a given personnel has entered the geofenced area for a set amount of time.

Zones can be configured with an optional severity:

• Critical
• Warning
• Notice

and can also be set with an optional duration in minutes and seconds (00:00 means instantaneous).  Once a personnel is active in a zone for the duration, an alert is sent to the screen for immediate review.

1. Open the Tool Bar to open the Annotations panel.  With the Annotations panel open, press the Zone button.
2. Give your zone a name, set its type, severity level and duration in minutes and seconds.
3. By pressing points on the map, draw your zone.
4. Press the Save button.
